A writing masterclass on plot and structure

Sarah’s workshop will focus on core elements of plotting and structure with an emphasis on some of the key aspects of writing that lend energy, truth and momentum to the shaping and developing of a novel’s storyline. Filled with practical exercises, useful reflections and writerly knowhow, Sarah will share some of the plotting techniques and ideas that can help you to develop confidence and style in your own writing. Perfect for new writers and emerging novelists.

Sarah is an award-winning novelist and teacher. By day, she’s an academic based at the University of Limerick where she teaches on the MA in creative writing, runs service-learning modules focused on creative writing in the community, and supervises research on creativity and fiction writing. She is one of the UL Creative writing Summer School facilitators and founder of UL’s creative writing winter school for mid-career writers.
