Harriet Wistrich in conversation with Vanessa Conneely
Harriet Wistrich is the Founder and Director of the UK’s Centre for Women’s Justice. A trained solicitor, with decades of experience, Harriet won the Liberty Human Rights Lawyer of the Year award 2014, Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year 2018 for public law, and Law Society Gazette personality of the year 2019. She has worked on many high-profile cases centring violence against women, including a case where eight women brought claims against the British Metropolitan Police force after they were tricked into relationships with undercover police officers.
