Building on the popularity of our primary school-based events, we are happy to announce a collaboration with our local secondary school. Author Louise Nealon will deliver a talk to Transition Year students within the school, where she will speak about dropping out of university in her first year and how reading and writing helped her to figure out how to connect with herself and with others.

Louise Nealon is a writer from County Kildare. Her debut novel, Snowflake, was the winner of Newcomer of the Year at the An Post Irish Book Awards and was chosen for the One Dublin One Book campaign in 2024. Her second novel Everything That Is Beautiful was published in April 2026.
